Geology Club was set up in September 2018 at the request of a number of students who had an interest not just in rocks but also geography and the world around us.
The club meets each Thursday at lunchtime. What started out as a teacher led club is now run by a number of students under the leadership of Rowan Wright & Bastien Varet. The students are very keen to explore the geology of Ireland and visited the Dunmore Caves in Kilkenny in 2019, we are planning more geology trips in the future! The students have also created a rock collection, grown their own crystals, cracked geodes and played games. New students are always welcome.
