The chess club has existed in Bremore since the 2022/23 academic year, every Wednesday at lunchtime students gather in the library to learn and play with their peers, all are welcome from beginners to competitive players.
This year the chess club is expanding to include a chess team which will represent Bremore in playing competitions with other schools.
