Opportunity to see an international space station tonight

International Space Station
31-March-20

Spot an International Space Station in the Sky Tonight!

BRIGHTEST #ISS PASS OF THE YEAR!

TIMELINE: 2042HRS to 2050HRS, TUES 31st MARCH 2020.

AREA: IRELAND.

A wonderful sight tonight (clear skies required) with the International Space Station making a near 10 minute pass. It will be the brightest pass of 2020 so you cannot miss it.

Look towards the Moon and just below Venus in our SW skies at 2042hrs as the Space ship (As big as Croke Park) speeds (Faster than a bullet) eastwards and will be on view for nearly 10 minutes. The ISS travels at 27,500 kmh. When it comes into view this evening it will be over the deep Atlantic and as it fades into shadow it will be directly over the Italian Alps!

Did you know the ISS is the most expensive man made object ever built at a cost of €136 billion. The International Space Station is a high-flying laboratory and has nine crew members aboard at this time. They really know about self isolation! Give them a wave!
